Jersey Day 1

Jersey Day, held on August 31, has been inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo whose life was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015.

Nathan’s family chose to focus on the gift of life to others through organ donation and to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality.

Jersey Day is close to the heart for St Michael’s as Nathan and his two sisters were second generation students at our school. St Michael’s is proud to support Jersey Day to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.

๐Ÿ  Year 2 had a fin-tastic adventure last week ๐Ÿ™ Last week our Year 2 students headed off to the aquarium and what an incredible day it was. The excitement on their faces as they explored the underwater world was priceless. From colourful fish to curious sharks and playful sea creatures, there was so much to see and learn. ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŸ The students asked amazing questions, shared their discoveries with friends and showed such wonderful curiosity the whole day. It was learning outside the classroom at its best and definitely a trip they will be talking about for a long time. ๐Ÿ’™ A big thank you to the staff and families who helped make the day so special. #Year2Adventures #LearningBeyondTheClassroom #ExcursionDay #PrimarySchoolLife #SchoolMemories #HandsOnLearning #UnderTheSea #CuriousLearners #StMichaels #PrimarySchool #BaulkhamHills #CSPD #CatholicSchool #HandsOnLearning #Grateful #PrimarySchoolMemories #SchoolCommunity #LearningTogether #Gratitude #MakingMemories #LittleLearners #SchoolLife #ExcursionFun #LearningOutsideTheClassroom

Big Day. Big Energy. Big Inspiration โšก๏ธ Our Year 6 leaders hit National Young Leaders Day today at the International Convention Centre Sydney ๐Ÿ‘ From the moment the speakers took the stage, Catherine Lagaโ€™aia, Jess Yates, Jacqui Bell and Nick Hudson, our students were hooked ๐Ÿ’ฅ Real stories, big challenges and powerful message. There was laughing, thinking, nodding alongโ€ฆ and definitely some lightbulb moments ๐Ÿ’ก There were also plenty of chances for the students to have a boogie ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป Safe to say, weโ€™ve got a group of students coming back a little more inspired, a little more confidentโ€ฆ and very ready to lead ๐Ÿ™Œ Weโ€™re so proud of the way they showed up today, curious, respectful and soaking it all in ๐Ÿ’™ #FutureLeaders #StudentVoice #LeadershipInAction #BigDreams #StMichaels #PrimarySchool #BaulkhamHills #CSPD #CatholicSchool
