Jersey Day, held on August 31, has been inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo whose life was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015.
Nathan’s family chose to focus on the gift of life to others through organ donation and to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality.
Jersey Day is close to the heart for St Michael’s as Nathan and his two sisters were second generation students at our school. St Michael’s is proud to support Jersey Day to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.

🎄🏊♀️ A Busy and Joyful Time in Year One! 🏊♂️🎄 What a wonderful few weeks it’s been in Year One! ✨ From the excitement and cheeky surprises of Elf on the Shelf 🎅🧝♂️ to the fantastic effort shown during the swimming program, our students have been busy learning, laughing and growing every day. We are so proud of how confidently the children participated in swimming last week, building their skills, resilience and water safety awareness 💦👏. Combined with all the festive fun and classroom learning, it’s been a truly memorable time for our Year One students! Well done Year One! 🌟💙 #YearOne #ElfOnTheShelf #SwimmingSuccess #LearningThroughFun #PrimarySchoolLife #ProudMoments #AustralianSchools #StMichaels #PrimarySchool #BaulkhamHills #CSPD #CatholicSchool14 Dec 2025
