Jersey Day 1

Jersey Day, held on August 31, has been inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo whose life was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015.

Nathan’s family chose to focus on the gift of life to others through organ donation and to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality.

Jersey Day is close to the heart for St Michael’s as Nathan and his two sisters were second generation students at our school. St Michael’s is proud to support Jersey Day to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.

🎨 Year 3 have been amazing artists this term, exploring the colourful worlds of Andy Warhol and Vincent Van Gogh! 🌻🧁Inspired by Warhol’s bold Pop Art style, students created eye-catching cupcake prints using complementary colours 🍭🎨 learning how colour can make their artwork pop! They also looked at Van Gogh’s famous Sunflowers, experimenting with brushstrokes and warm colours to create their own expressive floral pieces 🌻✨ It’s been a wonderful journey through art history — and the creativity on display is amazing! 💛💙❤️ #ArtInTheClassroom #PrimaryArt #Year3Artists #PopArt #AndyWarhol #VincentVanGogh #StudentCreativity #ColourfulArt #InspiredByTheMasters #YoungArtists #ArtEducation #CreativeKids #ComplementaryColours #SunflowerArt #ArtJourney #LittleArtists #ExpressiveArt #ArtIsFun #SchoolArt #ProudTeachers #StMichaels #PrimarySchool #BaulkhamsHills
