Jersey Day 1

Jersey Day, held on August 31, has been inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo whose life was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015.

Nathan’s family chose to focus on the gift of life to others through organ donation and to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality.

Jersey Day is close to the heart for St Michael’s as Nathan and his two sisters were second generation students at our school. St Michael’s is proud to support Jersey Day to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.

Welcoming Mass Celebrating Our 2026 Leaders ๐Ÿ’™โœจ Today we gathered as a whole school community for our beautiful Welcoming School Mass ๐Ÿ™ It was such a special way to begin the year together. United in faith, hope and excitement for all that 2026 will bring. A highlight of the Mass was the recognition of our incredible Year 6 Leaders ๐ŸŒŸ Each student was formally presented with their leadership badge, a proud and meaningful moment as they step into their roles as the new leaders of our school. These badges represent responsibility, service, kindness and the example they will set for our younger students each day. We are so proud of the way our Year 6 students embraced this moment with reverence and maturity. We know they will lead with courage, compassion and integrity throughout the year ahead ๐Ÿ’ซ A special thank you also to our two wonderful altar servers, who served with such respect and confidence at todayโ€™s Mass โœ๏ธ We are so proud of the way our students step forward to serve our community in so many ways. Congratulations to our 2026 Leaders! We canโ€™t wait to see you shine! #WelcomingMass #Year6Leaders #StudentLeadership #FaithInAction #ProudSchoolCommunity #LeadingWithHeart #PrimarySchoolLife #CatholicEducation #StMichaels #PrimarySchool #BaulkhamHills #CSPD #CatholicSchool
